I spent the afternoon with this adorable family last week. I thought my son's eyes were blue, but wow! This sweet guy takes the cake. We spent time just hanging out in their yard, playing peek a boo and finding flowers. What an easy going, fun family. I'm looking forward to working with them again.

As the school year comes to an end, we are reminded how quickly our children are growing up. Now is the perfect time to book a photo session to memorialize these ever changing moments. I'm offering two dates for mini sessions.

June 12, 2011 or July 9, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The mini sessions are booked in 30 minute time slots so that you can squeeze them into your busy summer schedule and still enjoy your family photos all year long. The fee for this session is $100 and included in the session is your choice of two 5x7 prints or one 8x10 print.

So Fresh and So New

Today I drove through the pouring rain. Literally over the river and through the woods (to the beach). It was so worth the drive. I got to meet and photograph this perfect little boy. Usually with newborn sessions there is a lot of sleeping and a lot of sleeping baby portraits. This guy was two and a half weeks old and so bright eyed the whole time. He never even cried, he was a natural. I'm looking forward to visiting with him over the next year to capture all of his milestones. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of his first year.

Baby Makes Four

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of photographing baby E, only 4 days old, and her loving family. She was an angel, slept the entire shoot with the exception of maybe a minute with her eyes open. She is so tiny and her big brother was so excited about her. I'll be making another visit to this family soon when more family is in town to welcome the sweet baby girl. Something I Had to Share

I love going to the beach in the winter. No, you're probably not barefoot and tanning, but wow, for a photographer, the lighting is amazing. There's usually no one there and you basically have the place to yourself. The waves are huge and the air is crisp. Wonderful!

Yesterday, we spent a chilly afternoon in Half Moon Bay with some family...Aiden's favorite cousin to be exact. It was cold and windy but that didn't phase the kids at all. They were building castles and running around, red cold noses and all. Here are two of my favorite pictures from the day.

Seriously...I'm partial to my kids but wow, these kids are absolutely beautiful. A couple of nights ago I spent some time with this beautiful newborn, Alana, and her awesome big brother Trent. Trent is two weeks older than Aiden and Alana is a mere three weeks young. She was just a darling baby. I held her until she fell asleep and then shot some beautiful photos. I got some adorable shots of Trent hanging out in his new playhouse just having a good time. Spending time with great friends and their awesome kids makes for a great evening. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

We just returned from a beautiful vacation in Cabo with a group of old and new friends. We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of one of our very best friends. Mike and I are a great team, which worked out well this time since I was actually an attendant in the wedding. He was able to pick up the camera and get all of the action that I wasn't able to and we were able to both shoot together flawlessly. I'll be posted some teasers soon. Stay tuned!
